hunting for those bargains!!

The 3rd National Swap Meet, Brafield, Northants

was the place to be on Sunday 25 April 2004. The gates were opened to the eager bargain hunters at around 10 AM and we were blessed with great weather, yet again. Many took the opportunity to give their cars a run out in the fine weather; this meant that there was plenty to see on the full car park, as well as inside.

An impressive array of cars and parts were offered for sale, with many superbly priced bargains up for grabs. All the usual traders were backed up by many individuals and clubs, selling off their spare parts, and some good deals were definitely struck.

New parts were available from Reality Hot Rods, Duksville, Originals Hot Rod Supply and a number of others.

Second, third and even fourth, fifth or more-user parts were available from a wide variety of people, selling everything from a flathead V8 to fuel pipe off the roll, there were oil and air filters and even a complete rebuilt Rover V8 engine and box, with everything else and more in between.

still hunting for those bargains!!

All in all it went very well, so it looks like this event is set to become a truly permanent feature on our calendar. Take a look at the pictures from the event and see if you can spot yourself among the crowd, or your ride in the car park.

No prizes are offered, even if you do manage to spot yourself!!
