Herts operation

We thought you might be interested in some developments at the Herts showground. Some improvements have already been made and others are planned for later in the year.

They say that there’s nothing like new blood to get things going, well that’s just what’s happened at Herts. The new Manager – Mike Harman – has devised and led an impressive programme of site improvements.
A new road has been laid all the way across the back of the site, near to the water tower. New drainage has been laid over the whole site, and because of that work the site has also been graded – i.e. no more furrows! The same works also turned up some “lost” standpipes. There are now eighteen newly plumbed standpipes throughout the site. Another interesting development is the planned surfacing of all roads on the site, though this sadly won’t be happening until September. It does however show a serious and full-blooded commitment to improve the facilities for the benefit of its customers. All power to them - we say.
