Pinstriping and Kustom Graphics Magazine Launches in the UK

In August 2005 a single page free newsletter was created by Kris & Lyn Johnson of Pinstriping UK for their customers. Created with the intention of helping and inspiring new pinstripers, providing hints and tips, and photos of other stripers’ work.

The original newsletter known as “Trickstriperist” was initially emailed to 150 people. Over the next 18 months demand for information grew and “Trickstriperist” expanded to cover not just pinstriping, but show reports, Kustom Kulture lifestyle items, and features on established and newbie stripers and airbrush artists.

The 1st Anniversary issue was a 16 page PDF full of hints and tips, artists features etc. The final edition in December 2006 was subscribed to by over 1500 avid readers worldwide, proving without question the demand for knowledge and information and the idea for a dedicated Pinstriping and Kustom Graphics Magazine was formed.

There is a wealth of talent in the UK/EU but most of these artists are working hidden away in small workshops at the end of the garden Few know who they are or where to find them. Pinstriping & Kustom Graphics Magazine will serve as a platform for established artists to showcase their talent and aspiring artists to learn from them. P&KG will also let you know who and where these gifted people are so you can choose who to use for your next project or simply to wonder at their work.

Pinstriping & Kustom Graphics Magazine will be holding its official launch at the Ace Café on Wednesday 4th of April from 6pm, where copies of the magazine will also be on sale in the UK for the first time.
